Zifo Genomics Research Institute (ZGRI), is a Data Driven Research Biotech, with the goal to understand influences of genes in the disease and to apply it for the development of early diagnostic tests, new treatments, or interventions to prevent disease onset or minimize disease severity.

Research Practice

  • Our studies are only performed upon receiving the necessary ethical clearance by ethics committee
  • We design scientific protocols working with clinical and genetic experts reviewed by our scientific advisory board
  • Recruitment into our studies is voluntary and may only be completed after proper informed consent has been received from the participants
  • State of the Art Data security measures to ensure the de-identified data sets are protected
  • We follow Nagoya Protocol on Access to Genetic Resources and the Fair and Equitable Sharing of Benefits Arising from their Utilization (ABS) to the Convention on Biological Diversity, any products developed using the samples collected in India will be made available to communities in India as in other parts of the world
